Winter view from the nest
This week I’m taking a break from my normal posts to show you some scenes from my city this winter…
View from the studio (affectionately called The Nest)
in downtown Winnipeg
Leigh-Ann and I just put up beautiful sheer drapes on the Freckled Nest side of the space, and in the morning they catch the light in a way that takes my breath away a little. Now I have to sneak over to Lune Vintage‘s window to peek at the cute boys crossing the street ;)
I think I’m going to really love this week of pictures. :)
Thanks for sharing! That looks gorgeous to me as well. Maybe one day I can visit!!!
Here’s a how-to video. The music accompanying it made me laugh, too.

Oh my goodness! I know how to make those sweet paper snow flakes! I made three large ones for my apartment this Christmas. They are so magical and simple! I am for sure making a lot more next year! :)
howwww can i make that kind of snowflake? i think i need to. before winter goes away.
i hope you had a wonderful christmas and am wishing you, LA and your nest all the best for the next year! xoxo
I love the Nest! It was so much fun to get a sneak peek at the Nest last week on video chat. Its such a dreamy, inspiring place. I wish I could stop by and visit on a regular basis.
Pretty! I love to make that type of paper snowflake! Easier than it looks – just repetitive, which can be meditative.
You take the most amazing pictures! Can’t wait to see more :)
Great idea, can’t wait to see more!
Very pretty :)
Pretty! And cute boys? Yes, please ;)!
Did you make that?
Nope, my friend Jill who we share our space with did – but I’m lucky because I get to enjoy them every day! :)
Oh fun! So cool to see the view for your studio. Love the nickname. And hey, any place with a view of cute boys is a good thing, right? :)
My thoughts exactly! ;)
I love that you call it The Nest – so appropriate!
