We’ll call it a treat
This morning I’m getting up early to make some Halloween treats, because I’ll take any excuse make cupcakes! The house is all decorated for Halloween (I’m such a geek about these things, you have no idea) and if I can get them done before work I’ll show you what I come up with.
In the mean time the mini-candy corn painted flower pots are holding enough treats to tide me over until the baking is done.
Send help? I doubt that have it in me to take up running again, and soon I’m going to need to! ;)
Edit: Got them done, just in the nick of time! :)
The cupcakes look tasty!
Those terra cotta pots are adorable! I had a pumpkin spice cupcake last night–it tasted like eating Fall :)
i adore those candy corn pots!! so so cute!!
Save me a cupcake? I’m on my way over!
(Also will we get to see photos of the house all decorated or at least the pumpkins?!)
The cupcakes look delish! I don’t decorate too much but I did get some pumpkins and gourds this year :) Baby steps.
so yummy and cute! i want a cupcake now… mmmm.
Adorable! (And yeah, let’s talk about how much candy and chocolate I’ve eaten in the last week or two. BAAAAD NEWWWWS…)
i love halloween decorations! we unfortunately had to hold off this year (unemployed…) but we did carve our pumpkin and have a few fun things!
your cupcakes look DELICIOUS!!! ;-)
The best part of Halloween is the treats :)
So cute! Holiday themed desserts are my favorite (I’m pretty sure that they taste better, too).
They turned otu so good! I love that you decorate for Halloween. I don’t have a single decoration but no one really sees my condo since I don’t get trick or treaters. :(
Your cupcake looks great! Tonight I’m baking my boyfriend my famous cheesecake for his birthday on Thursday. Every year I try to come up with a new way to decorate it, and this year I think I’ll make a raspberry sauce + some kind of cute decoration for the top!
I love your Halloween treats! The cupcakes look delicious and the candy corn pots are adorable. I live on a hill so we get no trick or treaters, the neighborhood is mostly older folks or childless couples. I do however occassionally buy some Halloween treats just to have at the house. We also have some witches/fall decorations that we pull out in October.
Are those coffee crisps I spy??? I miss Canada so much, if only for the poutine, ketchup chips and coffee crisps. The don’t exist in Texas.
Happy Halloween!
I’ve been trying SO HARD not to put candy on my desk… after last weeks chocolate covered raisin debacle (wherein I ate WAY too much).
Oh I adore the candy corn painted pots. Too cute.
Hmmm, LOVE Coffee Crisp and Smarties. I will never leave Canada because of those two candy bars :D Hehe!
We don’t decorate for halloween and since we live in a basement suite we don’t really get trick or treaters. I can’t wait until we have a house one day so I can hand out candy :D
Are Canadian Mmarties the same as American Smarties?
That’s a good question- no not at all, I’ll have to send you some!
US Smarties are sold here as Rockets, the name Smarties was already being used to sell a milk chocolate with a candy shell- a little like M&M’s but bigger, and from a British company :)
Hey there Kyla… I’d be happy to hit the gym with you when I get back… As long as you save me a cupcake. ;)
CANADIAN CANDY! My old boss was Canadian, & any time she made a visit home, she’d return to us with lots of candy we don’t have in the States, & oddly flavored potato chips, like chicken & ketchup. I can’t say I loved the chips, but ohhhh, that candy…
I bought Halloween candy the other day, and I’ve been dipping into it. I still haven’t decorated, though we bought some of the fake web stuff to put on our porch. We need to do that tonight!
Those pots are lovely. Did you paint them yourself?
Mmm cupcakes! I’m not really into Halloween (I figure that’ll have to change when we have kids), but I like seeing how people decorate their houses for it!
These are cute! We aren’t doing much around here as far as decorating, but I have indulged in some candy corn. Yum!
Those are so adorable I can’t stand it! Such a fun halloween decoration! In our house though, the candy wouldn’t last long!! :)
These look lovely! We haven’t decorated at all for Halloween this year. There are so many other projects (mainly home renovation) going on in our house right now that I just haven’t felt the “Halloween spirit” yet. I did get candy however (and boy do I have to tame myself!!!).
:)
