Weekly Weak Knees no. 34
Weekly Weak Knees is one of my favourite posts to put together every week- it’s a collection of things I’m finding particularly lovely and can’t help but share. For now I’ve stopped posting them daily in my sidebar, but will be sharing my daily faves on twitter.
This is what I’ve been loving this week- click on the pictures to explore…
♦ Dip dyed, colour blocked marshmallows! I love when design trends hit food, and these make me want to try making veg friendly marshmallows from scratch so badly!
♦ A clever thrifter deconstructed this letterpress drawer and made it into a small display shelf for small objects. I would like to live in a place where letterpress drawers are just waiting to be snapped, wouldn’t you?
♦ a 1960’s pyjama set that’s begging to be photographed. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if it was comfortable? I wonder…
♦ A celluloid fawn perfect for peeking out behind potted plants brings a timid touch of wild indoors
♦ A handmade clipboard to help will your wishes into coming true
♦ Kale and quinoa cakes (with dijon! and capers!!) that I’ve been dying to try out
♦ I’ve been struggling with my confidence lately & Leo Babauta’s guide to overcoming self doubt came at the right time
via Nubby Twiglet
♦ Lovely painted geometric camera strap makeover tutorial
♦ Gorgeous logo design by BMD Designs with a hand lettered vibe. I love that this type of aesthetic is on the rise again, it reminds me of Dana Tanamachi’s work. Every week Freckled Nest Design gets more requests for this style, and I can’t wait to show some of what we’ve been brewing.
♦ Have you seen the Free People festival lookbook? It’s brimming with amazing looks that make me want to get in the car and head on a music pilgrimage

That’s such a sweet sentiment, Kristin! I’m looking forward to exploring your blog & getting to know you. I’m also much more of my chatty self on Twitter, so if you have an account let’s link up! :)
Thanks Kyla! My twitter is @wounded_fawn and I am already following you!
Those colour blocked marshmallows are AMAZING, I can’t wait to try them! That wish clipboard is beautiful too!
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one that *doesn’t* live where letterpress drawers are just waiting to be snapped up.
Also, I love that nightgown! How beautiful.
The Leo Babauta article is wonderful – just what I was needing to read this week!
You should definitely make marshmallows – veg ones are even better than regular!
Oh my goodness, I know! I used to be able to buy them locally but the shop I found them in stopped carrying them. I need to go hunting recipe for a :)
