Weekly Weak Knees
I used to do a feature on my blog called /swoon, where I showed some of my favourite sweet things every week. I’m revamping it again as a fun Saturday morning thing, so grab a cup of coffee and let me know which made you smile
I just discovered Jordan Kay’s illustration, and I love this P is for Polaroid piece
Powered By Pastries offers high end pre-made blogger designs by Katrina from Pugly Pixel, and she just opened up a formspring where you can ask technical questions and get advice! She’s a bit of an e-saint in my books.
Photographer Rachel Mason’s horse photos make me happy, especially the noses :)
I love Danielle Thompson’s incredibly creative & well styled writing gift to her little boy, I think I want one!
Solestruck released their S/S lookbook, I’m in a beautiful shoe daze!
I love this unique t-shirt transfer tutorial, the results are downright romantic
Determined to be the cutest in the world, French children raise the bar by guessing what vintage technologies are
Have a beautiful weekend!
I really love the video of the french kids looking at old technology!! It’s so amazing how fast technology changes. And how the kids actually guessed pretty well, taking their knowledge of current technology into consideration!
this is a lovely feature kyla! and thank you for the kind words about my work…i personally love the horse muzzle shots the best too…
I remember this feature from ages ago. Glad that you’re bringing it back.
That horse nose is so great! Wish I would have thought to take that shot when I was visiting Atticus. Next time…
LOVE the pictures and so happy I recently discovered this blog :)
I love the title of this new project! And, I really like the Powered by Pastries item! :)
I love the horses nose – what great photographs ;)
thanks for the video, kyla — thanks a lot, now my eyes are watery from the giggles!
game boy == taser! LOL!! zzzzaap!
zip drive == camera hahaha …. gosh, i feel so old
and hey, thanks for posting about PBP — you’re a sweetheart — THANK YOU!
I love that you’re starting this series up again! The horse nose is my favorite! (Although that t-shirt looks really awesome!)
I have to say that although everything made me smile, that video made m laugh. I’m only 19, yet that made me feel so old! We had a mouse that was huge growing up {though not as big in the movie} and I remember playing that Gameboy!
Soft horse muzzles. Does it to me EVERY time.
Oh! I love that video of the French children. My husband showed that to me a few weeks ago and I loved it! I also love Danielle’s little letter set too! I must say today though that my favorite is the horse pictures. I recently learned that horses get all furry when it gets cold out. I do not know how I never noticed this before (my inlaws own quite a few horses). Since moving to a colder town and seeing our neighborhood has quite a few horses..I have noticed a lot more about them. :) Thanks for the swoonage!
i mean t-shirt, haha
i love that tv shirt idea :)
Jordan is my friend here in Seattle!
I actually almost moved into her house in the fall. Funny! Small world, eh?

The Powered by Pastries site is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for in terms of blog design help! Thanks for sharing their link :)
Awwww horsey! :)
i’m smiling over powered by pastries. as a new blogger there’s SO MUCH TO LEARN…i seriously have “what have i gotten myself into” moments as i’m scrambling to make pictures fit, text line up right, etc., etc. i’m glad you listed this resource!
Weekly Weak Knees. I LOVE IT, KYLA! So creative and inspiring. Thanks for sharing. :)
You have me searching for that Dylon Image Maker and I can’t seem to find it in my usual places. That image transfer project is a must-do!
Awww, the video is adorable! I love the new feature; I can’t wait to see what you come up with to share on Saturday mornings. :)
Good stuff! The video made me laugh. “It’s a bomb”!
My favourite is when the little kid invents record scratching for himself!! :)
I love the pony nose :D
awww, that video is cute. also, makes me feel kinda old ;)
The ‘P is for Polaroid’ illustration is very lovely, as is the horse picture. The t-shirt tutorial reminds me of a very expensive Zara shirt I saw a while ago, except for being much more personal.
