It’s the best feeling when you can watch your friends spread their winds and take flight. I started reading Eleni’s blog when I first started blogging at KylaRoma.com and when I heard that she was publishing her first book, I freaked out a little (in the happy way). A book? This is the blogging equivalent of when your friends start to have babies & buy houses! I can’t believe that we’re here- and I can’t wait to share her work with you.

Why I love it:

Hope Dies Last: Lessons In Love is a gorgeous book to read. The way Eleni writes is delicious, and her book lets you step into that voice more than you can when checking in on a blog post. Hope Dies Last is Eleni’s story of life as a single twenty something, trying to connect and explores the world of relationship from all sides, along with the roller coaster of feelings that come with it. In her own words, “I wanted intimacy in caps lock but I got it in parentheses”.

This is the first book I’ve read in a long time that gave me a feeling of instant recognition and connection. The descriptions of what she feels at different times completely took me back to moments from my past that I’d forgotten. Eleni’s writing is warm, personal and detailed, so while it’s different from your experiences it’s familiar and inviting. Hope Dies Last is a book about relationships that never dips into the platitudes of chick-lit, and it will fit in perfectly with your other favourite reads.

After I read it & was clearly rabid about her work, Eleni was kind enough to offer a copy to giveaway to my readers. A signed copy! And being an international lady, she made sure that anyone from anywhere in the world can enter.
