Nostalgia For Your Childhood In Japan
Photography that captures extrodinary moments in every day life really gets me, and since I found this gorgeous set of portraits by Hideaki Hamada over the weekend I haven’t been able to stop going back to them! These little boys Haru and Mina, and their father has been taking photos of them since they were born.
The photos are so inventive and charming that they made me nostalgic for a childhood in Japan that’s not my own. I think my Must Visit list just got a little longer, my baby fever just went up a degree, and that I need to carry my camera with me a little more!

Wow. Just wow! So amazing!
WOW so cool!
Oh man. Here I was thinking my day couldn’t get any more adorable after passing all of the tiny snowsuited toddlers starfishing their way off to daycare this morning, and you hit me with this. Gorgeous photos. Great find!
I went on an exchange to Japan a few years ago and have amazing photos as I experienced the country through the eyes of a teenage Japanese girl Yoko. If you like photos of this beautiful country send me an email, I’d love to share!
P.s. a very inspirational, touching, romantic, and nostalgic place to visit. You should shack those puppies up with someone and take your hubby on an adventure!
Lo
I love these. Those two little boys are the cutest ever! I’m half Filipino and I told my husband that he’s to blame of our 0% chance that our babies will look even slightly Asian. And I love little Asian babies. We may have to adopt to achieve optimum adorableness <3 I'll blame you when my husband notices my baby fever is higher than usual over the next few days ;) Thanks for posting these photos!
Awwww! These pictures are amazing and ADORABLE. Love them.
Holy cow! Thanks for sharing!
Not only am I a sucker for great photography, I also lived in Japan for 2 years…
homesick but happy! :)

Oh wow, these pictures are absolutely breathtaking! I love those simple, everyday shots as well, and these make me nostalgic for this childhood too, haha!
