Let’s run away together
I love a good love story, and when found this video for the first time last week I couldn’t turn it off. It’s the wedding video for model Coco Rocha, and it’s kind of jaw dropping…

I love everything about it, from the way that they speak to the music and cinematography! I’m still waiting to be swept away by the Christmas season, so while I’m waiting for my spirit to hustle on in and make merry, I’m going to keep re-watching this and be completely swept away to a world full of beautiful dresses, love, family, and a fairy tale version of France.
If you could be swept away to anywhere today, where would it be?
I would say to Christmas morning, but I have most of this week off and I want to revel in it! I think that over to Starbucks for a salted caramel hot chocolate and to catch up on my reading would be my real answer :)
uh, hope i can have a video like this one later when i get married ;’)
amazing !
wow. that video was absolutely jaw-dropping!! I have never been interested in Paris…but kind of am now. :) As well as re-doing my wedding to include Paris maybe…. :)
Hmmm…I’d be swept away to someplace warm without the threat of Christmas snow that could cause me to work on Christmas weekend. Or Paris. Either or.
ohh my goodness that was beautiful! i couldn’t stop watching!
I’m actually going to Paris in April, so I suppose I’ll have to hold off ’til then…but I’m SO EXCITED!
Love this…and love your necklaces!
wow! this totally reminds me of pride and prejudice, which I LOVE
xoxo

p.s. congrats and joining with Leigh-Ann! so exciting!
Oh my gosh. So gorgeous, and breathtaking, and….just wow! I may have to snag this video for my blog. It’s interesting how they feel so down to earth and REAL and then surrounded by all the extravagance. That location is amazing! Thanks for sharing :)
Jaw dropping… to say the least! Wow, that video..
If I could be swept away to anywhere, I would choose… anywhere with sun. I am so over this cold weather!
A quiet afternoon to curl up with a great book, some winter beverages and my favorite Kyla would be just about perfect.
ANNNND, I love this.
First, I love you and your blog. I adore how you are so honest, where it is an up or a down. Thank you for that.
And to answer your question, I would love to be swept away to Spain. By boyfriend is there visiting home and I miss him dearly. :D Plus it is southern spain! lol
Oh my word, what an amazing video. It makes me want to run away to a foreign country, find love, and never return home. I’m not sure what I want to be swept away too. I only work tomorrow and I really want to savor my time off for the next week and a half. I hope you enjoy your time off this week!
If you find love and are swept away never to return, you had better still be available on skype, pretty lady! That’s all I have to say on the matter ;)
oohh yes, i’ve watched this multiple times and it just takes my breath away!!! be. still. my. heart. i love coco rocha.
today – i would run away to new york city, or paris. i’m sure both are even more magical at christmas time. :)
I’m so with you, I can’t get enough of the video or of her! Honestly, coco rocha? Even her name is magical! :)
Such a bad few days recently, I was so glad to cry out of happiness for them while watching this movie! I feel warm and fresh now, haha!
Thanks for sharing Kyla!
Ahhhh, I want to go to Paris NOW, how lovely. This video is just what I needed today to cheer my spirit.
If I could be swept away anywhere it would be to Friday after lunch. Then I will have 10 days off to spend with my family & friends. People will be arriving at our house for Christmas, my sister will be home from the ‘Stan and Christmas morning will only be hours away! I freaking LOVE Christmas!!
Or, I’d take a nice beach somewhere. ;)
Beautiful!
I actually think I am exactly where I want to be today. Although if I could be swept away to the exact same scenario but with all of my floors cleaned that would be rad. ;)
Ah! I love Coco. I have a small girlcrush on her.
I think I would just like to be swept to Tuesday afternoon because after that I have 12 whole days off!
Hmmm, how about being swept away to Florida, to a land where palm trees have Christmas lights on them and the holiday drink of choice is a margarita!? I could use a little warmth and escape in my life…. or maybe to Wisconsin where my heart is. Either one would be great :)
if i could be swept away to anywhere, i’d pick…
mm, probably new york. i wanna sit on a street corner with barclay and people-watch.
I didn’t have the best weekend and could use a love story to restore my faith in, well, love, so I will have to watch this tonight when I get home. Or discretely at work – although, knowing it made others cry, I might need to wait… I don’t want to be ‘that girl’ crying at the office. ; )
I would like to be swept away to Tucson to visit my sister. Or to Phoenix so I could hold my friend’s baby. Or to Paris where I could walk along the snow covered boulevards. Or to my parents’ home where I tend to sleep amazingly well for some reason…
Oh my goodness how amazingly beautiful… I was totally tearing up as well! I hope our video turns out even half as magical as this one :)
Thanks so much for sharing this! It brought tears to my eyes as well. This definitely is the ‘sweep-me-away’ type of film. If I could be swept away anywhere it would be to my studio, for hours and hours of uninterrupted and inspired work. Or, perhaps back in time to my own wedding in October. That really swept me away too! :-)
@ Hope: Is is :)!!
Is it normal that I was crying half way through this? Thanks so much for sharing it. It is so beautiful and you can feel the love between them so much. :)
I’m with Fee, I think it is! I couldn’t stop watching it, the way they speak about each other just had me a little breathless :) <3
Part of me says February–our baby will be here by then and we’ll have some sort of routine and I am SO VERY curious to see what that will look like! But then the rest of me says someplace/anyplace with a great view and crisp white linens. I think I could sleep for days and indulge with some room service for even more days!
