Friday Finds Will Sweep You Off Your Feet
I don’t know why it’s taken me so long, but I’m finally realizing (and embracing!) the fact that I’m a bit of a girly-girl. Give me ruffles and pops of colour, soft colours and silk, and I’m in my happy place! Neither Jesse or I have ever been into making a big deal of our anniversaries or the holidays, but after six years of being together we’re starting to see the fun in embracing a little more romance.
Last week, Jesse called me up & let me know he’d made us a Valentines Day reservation at our favourite fancy restaurant- a first for us! I kind of can’t wait- so I thought I’d share a giant, over the top Friday Finds with you today. Just to spread the romance around a little :)

Aww, I hope you guys have fun on your Valentine’s Day date. Sometimes it can be fun to mix things up a bit.
And I too am a fun of all things feminine and ruffled. I don’t know where it came from, but it’s almost an obsession now.
So many pretty and girly finds!
Oh those delicate little shoes are so beautiful!
I am LOVING how so many blogs are doing Valentine’s day related posts right now…I don’t think V-day is a big deal, but all the cutesy stuff is making my heart go pitter-patter. Those shoes, for example? I want them for my wedding!!
Embracing the feminine is such a delicate thing. I love this post, because as a mother , sometimes I forget to allow the feminine, especially when most days I am wellies and a fleece. I think it is good to pause, buy something pretty, and remember that being girly does not equal vulnerable.x
Ooooh! I want to wear that bubble dress with those gorgeous teal flats! What a beautiful collection of pieces :)
Ooo, I want everything in this post! Especially that cream dress – that is so feminine and pretty!! I, too, am a total girly girl! So fun!
That is great that you & Jesse have fun plans for V-Day! :)
oh sweet rotary phone – I’m tempted to pay for a land line just for the the privilege of calling you my own!
Oh my word, #8, that picture- it’s so beautiful. I adore it! ♥

I adore this. I also want to recreate that wall art for Anne for V-day. :)
Awww. Have a good Valentine’s with your hubby! Sounds like it’ll be a good time :)
This post has my name written all over it. LOVE!
Love those wood flowers! I wouldn’t mind getting them instead of the real thing :)
What? You’re a girly-girl?! I never would’ve guessed. ;)
I just realized my girly-ness recently too! It’s a good feeling. Love all of these!
Everything in this post = WANT.
Your blog is adorable! :)
