Friday Finds Will Keep You On Your Toes no. 55
This time of year in the Canadian Prairies is usually terribly cold, but we’ve been lucky to have a warm winter so far, and I haven’t had to give up on skirts entirely! My favourite warm(ish) winter accessory is a pair of cozy leg warmers, giant warm socks or printed tights. I love bringing an unexpected pop of colour or pattern into the sea of snow, black coats, grey scarves and black boots that my city can become.

Do you have a favourite way to keep cute & stay cozy in the winter time?
One of my favourites is to start the day with a bubble bath in our giant claw foot tub. Love!
I wear fingerless gloves – Melbourne winters are particularly cold, but fingerless gloves are so much fun!
Why, oh why did you have to post this?! I’m on a budget! They’re all so pretttttyyyyy…

I love leg warmers, but it’s too hot to wear them this winter. It was 81 degrees here this week!
Well, when it comes to “warm and cozy,” things are a little different here in Tucson, AZ. When it drops down to a chilly 65 degrees, I put on the fireplace dvd to warm the house up. And if I’m feeling festive, I pop a Santa hat on the cactus!
Oh my, the Galaxy gold and grey leggings are awesome! When it’s cold outside, I love layers: big sweater dresses, leggings, tall boots, and tall boot socks. Pair that with a cup of coffee and a good read and I’m good to go.
I *love* wearing a ridiculously oversized, super snuggly jumper; it’s even better if it’s absolutely hideous too! Who doesn’t love a warm ugly jumper? Matched with hot chocolate and marshmallows – wintry heaven!
There is a very special place in my heart for giant ugly jumpers- you just can’t beat them! I’m glad I’m not alone in that ;)
I’ve decided wearing a bright red pair of tights is the best way to beat the winter blues, I swear.
tights with boots, and scarves, are my favorite way to keep things cute and cozy!!! it doesn’t get too cold here in SC though :(
My favourite way to stay warm is to stay inside, ha ha … but since Topher is loving the snow these days, I don’t really have that option. At least the prairies are warm right now :)
I love my pink and hot pink striped gloves. I just finished a cowl, and wonder what I ever did without it. I live in Texas, so right now it is cold in the mornings and warm the rest of the day. I love the yellow shoe clips. I am going to try an knit some leg warmers for my sister.
I definitely keep warm with thick leggings, boot socks and boots! My favorite outfits includes all of those things! :)
I’ve never worn boot socks but I’m feeling like I must be missing out! I do have a pair of black leg warmers that I wear over thick black leggings in the winter though, and they’re very cozy! Thank goodness for winter layering innovations, hey? ;)
COFFEE. Just try to tell me I’m not cute when I’m clutching my little pink coffee cup on the way to the bus stop in the morning. No? Ok. Still. Mmmmm.
Yes! I’m completely with you- I love how good coffee keeps you extra warm on the way into work when it’s cold and has me in full gear by the time I’m there. I’ve recently switched back to being a tea drinker but the coffee here in Mexico is so good that I may yet be converted!
Hot chocolate and a good book keep me cozy warm in Ontario winters :) Oh and a wool blankey :P
