& a few updates from my world:
✖ The first snow of the year has landed and stayed! We’re officially in winter in the Canadian Prairies.
✖ The Good Will Social Club opened in Winnipeg last month, and it’s my new favourite place. They have great coffee, espresso and baking, pizza plus beer on tap, there’s a mid-century modern living room area, and huge tables with enough outlets for you and 60 friends. I’m visiting it a few times a week to do my blog & course writing, and I can’t recommend it enough.
✖ My hedgehog Ramona has become so bold and adventurous! She’s friendly and sweet, comes out of the bag she likes to stay in while we hang out daily, and has started exploring the house in her super sized hamster ball. It takes a long time for rescue hedgehogs to become less fearful, and four months in her personality has totally changed in a great way.
✖ I’m working hard on making the online day planner design course, Planner Camp available by the end of the month, with big improvements coming in the new year.
The highlight of my week was celebrating Topher’s half birthday. Now he’s not just 4, he’s 4 and a half – and he won’t let anyone forget it!
I love when you share Ramona updates on Twitter – the bubble bath photo you shared was too cute :)
The highlight of my week was finishing a huge set of homework, maintaining my blog and continuing my job search, all with minimal hair loss and hive breakouts. It’s the little things — I feel super accomplished. ;)
— Also, I’m super jealous of your winter. Send some south!
