Dating is fun
This week I’m taking a break from my normal posts to show you some scenes from my winter…
I love going on dates with Jesse, and my favourite thing is to go for dinner with him. We’ve been so good about eating in and sticking to our budget that we decided to treat ourselves to a big tapas dinner last week- it was so much fun to stay out late and talk about everything we want to make happen in the coming year. Making plans together is one of my favourite parts of being married. Second to the tapas dates, of course :)
It’s fun to have date night even when you are already married. It’s something to look forward to.
BTW – I love your iPhone casing. I wonder what the back of your case looks like. Is that a skin on the front of your phone?
Date nights with husbands are so fun!
Cutest thing ever. :)
Dinner dates are my favorite! They’re such a nice way to kind of get out of your everyday routine and just enjoy time together. Glad you two had such a lovely evening! :)
Tapas? Tapas. Tapas!
You and Jesse are adorable, and I’m loving these mini-posts from you.
Aren’t you two just dear. My fella and I work opposite schedules, so I get preposterously excited when we get to have a dinner date. Late-night tapas sounds amazing!
TOO CUTE!
Also, that’s love. :)
Oh Lordy, who put on your screen protector?! ;)
Ps. Adorable, the two of you.
You and Jesse are adorable. Totally.
I love dinner dates too…just wish it was easier to convince my other half to try different restaurants!
I’m with you & Ashlee on this. I love love love dinner dates with Glenn where we get to talk about each other and plans for the future. It’s the best.
Dinner dates with Brett while we talk about our dreams for the future is just about my FAVORITE thing in the world. Glad you two find time for that! ;)
I love date nights too! Also, tapas? That makes for a great date night!
it’s great that you two talk about what your plans are because then you know that you are on the same page. love the default icon that shows up next to the everyone’s name when they comment! :)
Oh yes, keeping up the “dating” even when you’re married is so important! I’m so glad y’all had a great date night :)
ha! this is adorable.
sometimes, rarely, on the drive home from work, one of us tries to suggest something similar :)
Yummm, tapas. :)
We try to go on one “date” a week, though since having Topher that usually means one night a week that we cuddle on the couch and watch TV or a movie together :)
Dates are my favourite thing ever ever and one of my goals in 2011 is to go on MORE with Eric :)
I love plan-making and goal-setting with Chris, also! And especially over tapas and wine – that’s pretty much how we did it last time :)
Aw, that’s so cute. :) I remember my parents going on dates when I was a kid. They would go to dinner and a movie and then would go grocery shopping. My mom said she always liked grocery shopping with my dad because it wasn’t something they got to do together since they had 5 kids and all… I remember her coming home and checking in on us. I have always been a light sleeper, so I would always wake up when she’d come in my room and I’d ask her what her & dad had for dinner.
To this day, I always ask people what they had for dinner when they go out to eat. :)
Anyways, random comment, but I love it when couples continue to ‘date’, regardless of how long they’ve been married. :)
Dates are so much fun, especially after you’ve been together for a while (I’ve never been married but have been in long distance relationships). Before Chico’s Dad walked out on us, I really enjoyed those fun, special times. And tapas are the best. Especially when I worked at a tapas bar and my family thought I was saying “topless bar.” They know I’m a classy chick.
Haha, this made me laugh :)! I love the idea of making dinner plans via mobile with your man….
How adorable are you two?! Ben and I just went on a lunch date Sunday because we got a gift card for Christmas to a restaurant – it was such a nice change!
awwww! this is beyond cute! i love the eagerness of “dinner? dinner.DINNER!” so so so precious. :)
Awww that is so romantic! I love when married couples still go on dates. I think it is so sweet. Hope you two had a lovely night! xo.
