A wish for the week…
I’m trying to start the week – and every day – with the right mind set, so I keep my priorities in mind and I’m always acting from the right place. For me that means…
I feel like if I could just keep these things in mind, no matter what happened I would have an amazing week.
I’m going to try my best until it’s effortless. I’m aiming for annoyingly upbeat + positive ;)
Do you have a wish for this week?

These are amazing Kyla, and super inspirational! Hope you had a wonderful week!
I think these are all such important things to keep in mind & I really like the presentation!
However, I did wonder about something as I was looking at them. I remember a little while ago, you mentioned that you want to be more diligent in finding the original sources of photographs – a great idea, I think! When I saw that you did the editing (I’m assuming post-processing & text) on these photos, I wondered if potentially some photographers might have issue with you changing the photos. Or is that something you ask them before you do so?
Just curious :)
These are so wonderful! Clearly I need to add your blog to my list of ones to visit. Excuse me while I go snoop around your crafting posts. :)
I wish for a night of uninterrupted sleep… and to sleep until my alarm clock goes off. That would be just fabulous!
Beautiful post, my dear! Miss you! After the first crazy test is behind me on 4/13, I’d love to chat with you!
Can one hope for no snow? Or just warm enough weather for me to put the coat away and take it to the cleaners? Also for less stress. I woke up stressed, which is not really like me. Need to get that sorted out!
I wishto get over this cold/allergy combo I got going on! It’s horrible! And warm weather and no more rain please! And some of those cupcakes in your last picture :)
I need cupcakes in my belly. Immediately.
And my wish? To remember how to relax my shoulders and release the breath I’ve been holding.
My wish for this week is to not talk myself out of hiking after work at least twice this week.
I love this post! I need to remember these things every day too, it’s amazing how much it can help
That sounds lovely. This week I am trying to remind myself much of the same. I need to be positive and upbeat these days.
It’s funny how we keep forgetting the simplest things. Somehow we all get caught in the whirlpool of our busy lives.
These are such great things to think about and remember. :)
Pray that my job interview tomorrow morning goes wonderfully and that I get the job. I really need this!!
my wish for the week is to complete my to-do list which i have been putting off for weeks. its time i crawled out of bed and put some effort into life. =D have a super week Kyla!
Staying in the moment is something I’ve been working on … but I find myself focussing so much on “being in the moment” that I’m not really PRESENT in the moment – if that makes any sense.
My wish for this week is to be able to sleep more. I’ve been going to bed too late and Topher’s been waking me up too early – ugh. Not good …
I LOVE the last one. Its the little things that make life excellent
these are great! :)
I definitely needed all these reminders today! I’m going to celebrate mini victories this week. Hope yours is fabulous. xx
Thank you for sharing! I think those are wonderful things to try to remember.
My wish for the week? To stop crying in the middle of my classes! These are really inspiring and positive messages–thank you, Kyla!
This is a wonderful way to look towards the week! And so creative too!!!
You can do it, I know you can! :D
I wish I could make posters out of all of these images. It’s good to have a reason to smile and laugh every day.
I love the “how will I feel about this in 40 years?” What a great perspective!
I LOVE that “will this matter to me in 40 years” thing. That’s a great way to keep small mishaps in perspective :)
“How will I feel about this in forty years?” is SUCH a good question to ask yourself when something stressful or upsetting happens – I’ll have to remember that one for myself.
This week I would like to be annoyingly productive and finish a major project! So I guess I’d better get started right away…
Just that all the ice and yuckiness from the streets would finally be gone so we can start enjoying spring! (And also possibly so I can look a little more graceful in heels when I’m out and about instead of Bambi on a frozen pond :))
